Your challenge is to think Throwback. Something that suddenly reminds you of something in the past this could be in the form of throwback papers you have, embellishments, tools, throwback themed papers, colors, photos, memorabilia ANYTHING that will help you express any of your favorite past times. Whatever you choose have fun with it and think outside the box. Let's see what you got! Here is some Design Team Inspiration for you and a little bit about what was used. Make sure you participate in the challenge for this Month's prize!!!
(I decided to go back with my photo as well and use one from many years ago of my mum and dad. The papers were very old ones from my stash - G45 and Maja Designs. I decided to then go with old techniques that were being used on everything all the time when I first started scrapping - Fussy cutting, stickers and rubons.)
(I went way back and used one of my all time favorite collections from Crate Paper, which is the Maggie Holmes Collections. I must have bought this collection three times! For my favorite embellishments I used flowers and distressing, its a must for me!)
(We went back to a family holiday and used a picture from there; we used Gelatos and some dies that we've had in our stash since long)
Using old stickers I had for over 7 years (that didn't stick very well so had to glue on) and alcohol inks I hadn't used in over a year, on some old wood samples pieces.
Shabby Chic Wall Hanging made using vintage lace, fibers and flowers.
I used to use a lot of dies cut out with my Big Shot Die Cut Machine. I also found my border punch I used to use a lot!
I remember when I started scrapping back many years ago and it was all about doilies, big buttons and rosette flowers! This is my modern take on this throw back challenge.
( I have used really old Kaiser Papers "Pennyroyale" for the large Damask Patterns and matching brads as they were very popular a few years back)
When I start crafting 2007 I made a lot of cards. And my favorite materials was buttons and Basic Grey papers. And of course I used those on this work.
I used some throwback themed papers that includes old typewriters, cameras, travel themed items and old journal paper. I also used a photo that took a while back after wearing these as a kid, they are back. I also love things that are vitnage and old so I kinda used this in the layout. Vintage looking papers that are actually a couple of years old. Thanks so much for stopping by. This month's challenges are sponsored by Let's Get Sketchy! Please make sure you link up to the right!
